April 8, 2011: The readings for today are Ruth 1, 2, 3, and 4 and Luke 11:29-54. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.

Ruth 1:

• List the names of Naomi's husband, her two sons, and their wives.

• Write out verse 16.

Ruth 2:

• List the reasons that Boaz was kind to Ruth.

Ruth 3:

• List what Ruth asked Boaz to do (verse 9).

Ruth 4:

• List what Boaz asked of the family redeemer.

• List the family redeemer's response.

• List the descendants of Boaz, starting with Boaz and going forward.

Luke 11:29-54:

• Write out verses 33-36.

• Draw a vertical line down the center of the page. Label the left column "What Pharisees do" and the right column "What Pharisees should do."

• From the reading, fill in the columns with the appropriate information.
