Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

April 6, 2011: The readings for today are Judges 18 and 19 and Luke 10:25-42. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.


Judges 18:
  • List a description of the people living in Laish.
  • List the items and persons that the warriors from Dan took from Micah.
Judges 19:
  • List each delay that the Levite man had on his journey to return home.
  • List everything the Levite man did to or with his concubine woman.
Luke 10:25-42:
  • List the two Moses laws that the religious expert said we should follow to receive eternal life.
  • Draw a vertical line down the center of the page. Label the left column "Person" and the right column "Actions."
  • From today's reading, list the information in the appropriate column regarding the story of the injured man.
  • Circle the man in the above columns who was the true neighbor and showed mercy to the wounded man.
  • Draw another vertical line down the center of the page. Label the left column "Martha" and the right column "Mary.
  • From today's reading, list the information in the appropriate column regarding what we learn about Martha and Mary.
  • Put an asterisk next to the person's name whose actions Jesus supported.
