April 19, 2011: The readings for today are 1 Samuel 27, 28, and 29 and Luke 17:1-19. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.

1 Samuel 27:

• List the places that David raided.

1 Samuel 28:

• List what the spirit of Samuel (through the medium of Endor) told Saul.

1 Samuel 29:

• List the reasons King Achish would not allow David to go into battle.

Luke 17:1-19:

• List the proscriptions Jesus told his disciples.

• Write out verse 10.

• List how many lepers Jesus healed.

• List how many healed lepers returned to thank Jesus and from what area.
