April 29, 2011: The readings for today are 2 Samuel 21 and 22 and Luke 22:1-30. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.
2 Samuel 21:
- List all the people David had killed in order to end the famine.
- List the four Philistine giants and who killed them.
2 Samuel 22:
- List David's description of the Lord in verse 3.
- List what the Lord does for David from verses 17-21.
- Write out verses 22 and 23.
- List what things God is in verse 31-33.
Luke 22:1-30:
- List the steps and words Jesus took and spoke during the Passover meal with his disciples.
- Write out verse 26.
