April 26, 2011: The readings for today are 2 Samuel 15 and 16 and Luke 20:27-47. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.
2 Samuel 15:
- List the ways that Absalom stole the people's hearts away from King David.
- List David's responses to the news that Absalom was coming to Jerusalem.
2 Samuel 16:
- List all the various people who turned against David and what wrongdoing they did.
Luke 20:27-47:
- List what points Jesus made about marriage and the resurrection.
- List the points of Jesus's description of the religious leaders.
