Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

The readings for today are 2 Chronicles 13, 14, 15, and 16 and John 14. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.


2 Chronicles 13:

  • Draw a vertical line down the center of the page. Label the left column "Abijah (Judah)" and the right column "Jeroboam (Israel)".
  • In the appropriate column from the information in today's reading, list the reasons why Abijah claimed that God would be on Judah's side.
2 Chronicles 14:

  • List the reasons why King Asa of Judah pleased the Lord.
  • List what Asa did during his reign of peace.


2 Chronicles 15:

  • List the additional religious reforms that Asa made.
  • List the covenant provisions that Asa and his people entered into.


2 Chronicles 16:

  • Write out verse 9a.
  • List the events when Asa did not seek the Lord's help.


John 14:

  • List Jesus's words in verse 6.
  • Write out verse 13.
  • Write out verses 15, 16, and 17a.
  • Write out verse 27.
