Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

The readings for today are Psalms 4, 5, and 6 and Acts 16:16-40. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.

Psalm 4:
  • List the requests that David asks of God in verse 1.
  • List what David thinks we can be sure of in verse 3.
  • Write out verses 4  and 5.
  • Write out verse 6a.
  • Write out verse 8.
Psalm 5:
  • Draw a vertical line down the center of the page. Label the left column "Godly" and the right column "Wicked."
  • From the information in the reading, fill in the appropriate columns with a description of each.
Psalm 6:
  • List all the requests that David makes in verses 1-5.
  • List a description of David from verses 6 and 7.
  • List what David is sure of in verses 8-10.
Acts 16:16-40:
  • List what happened between Paul and the fortune-teller slave girl.
  • List what happened to Paul and Silas as a result of saving the girl from demon possession.
  • List what happened at the jail and to the jailer.
  • Write out verse 31 and what the jailer must do to be saved.
  • List the reasons that Paul would not leave the jail when he was released.
