Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.
The readings for today are Job 1, 2, and 3 and Acts 7:1-19. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.
Job 1:
- List a description of Job's character.
- List what Job did every day for his children and why.
- List the disasters that befell Job.
- Write out Job's response from verse 21.
Job 2:
- List what Satan did to Job next.
- List the advice Job's wife offered.
- List what Job answered to his wife.
- List Job's three friends and what they did to show their support.
Job 3:
- List Job's main speech.
- Write out verses 25 and 26.
Acts 7:1-19:
- When Stephen answered the accusations against him, he started relating a history. List a topical summary of the historical events that Stephen talked about.
