The readings for today are 1 Kings 19 and 20 and John 2. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.
1 Kings 19:
- List what happened to Elijah under the broom tree.
- List the three things that happened on the mountain.
- List how Elijah anointed Elisha as his replacement.
- List what Elisha did with his oxen and plow.
1 Kings 20:
- Write out Ahab's words in verse 11.
- The Lord helped Ahab in two battles. List them and what happened.
- List why the Lord helped Ahab.
- List the message the prophet demonstrated to Ahab.
John 2:
- List what Jesus did at the wedding in Cana.
- List what Jesus did at the Temple in Jerusalem.
- List what Jesus told the Jewish leaders as proof of a miraculous sign.
