Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.
The readings for today are 1 Kings 21 and 22 and John 3:1-21. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.
1 Kings 21:
- List all the evil things that Ahab did.
- List the evil things that Ahab's wife Jezebel did.
- List the Lord's words to Ahab through Elijah.
1 Kings 22:
- Draw a vertical line down the center of the page. Label the left column "Ahab's prophets" and the right column "Micaiah."
- From the reading, list what was prophesied in the appropriate column.
- Write out Micaiah's words from verse 14.
- List a description of Jehoshaphat if the good things that he did during his reign.
- List the things that Jehoshaphat did that displeased the Lord.
John 3:1-21:
- List the words of Jesus from verse 3.
- List the words of Jesus from verse 5.
- Write out verse 16.
- Draw a vertical line down the center of the page. Label the left column "Saved" and the right column "Unsaved."
- From the reading in verses 16-21, list what we learn about the saved and unsaved.
