The readings for today are 2 Kings 6, 7, and 8 and John 4:31-54. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.
2 Kings 6:
- List what happened with Elisha and the ax head.
- List Elisha's 3 prayers in verses 17-20 and what happened each time.
- List the things that happened during the famine in Samaria.
2 Kings 7:
- List what the 4 men with leprosy discovered and what they did.
- List what happened to the king's officer who had been sent to kill Elisha.
2 Kings 8:
- List the terrible things Elisha prophesied that Hazael would do.
- List what evil things Huzael did to King Ben-hadad.
- List the 2 kings of Judah mentioned in today's reading and describe why they were evil kings.
John 4:31-54:
- Write out the words of Jesus in verse 34.
- Write out the words of Jesus in verse 44.
- List a description of Jesus's second miracle in Galilee.
