Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

The readings for today are 2 Chronicles 1, 2, and 3 and John 12:1-19. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.


2 Chronicles 1:

• List what gifts Solomon asked for himself from the Lord.

• List what gifts the Lord bestowed on Solomon.

2 Chronicles 2:

• List what Solomon requested from King Hyram at Tyre.

• List what Solomon would pay King Hyram in return.

2 Chronicles 3:

• List the various parts of the temple that are described in today's reading.

• List the names of the two pillars at the entrance to the Temple.

John 12:1-19:

• Draw a vertical line down the center of the page. Label the left column "Judah" and the right column "Jesus."

• In the left column, list Judah's complaints about Mary anointing Jesus's feet with expensive perfume.

• In the right column, list Jesus's explanation.
