Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

The readings for today are 2 Kings 23, 24, and 25 and John 7:1-31. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.


2 Kings 23:
  • List what King Josiah did at the Temple.
  • List King Josiah's instructions concerning the purge of idol worship.
  • List the kings that followed Josiah's reign and note whether they followed the Lord.


2 Kings 24:
  • List the kings mentioned in this chapter and note briefly anything significant about their reign or what happened to them.


2 Kings 25:
  • List what the king of Babylon did to Zedekiah, the last king of Judah.
  • List what was done to Jerusalem and the Temple.
  • List the people taken prisoner and put to death in Babylon.
  • List what happened to former King Jehoiachin in Babylon.


John 7:1-31:
  • List what people were saying about Jesus.
  • Write out verses 17 and 18.
