Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

The readings for today are 2 Kings 15, 16, and 17 and John 6:1-21. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.


2 Kings 15:
  • List whether King Uzziah of Judah followed the Lord.
  • List the rulers of Israel mentioned in this chapter and whether they followed the Lord.
  • List whether King Jotham of Judah followed the Lord.


2 Kings 16:
  • List whether King Ahaz of Judah did what was pleasing to the Lord.
  • List a description of the pact made by King Ahaz of Judah with King Tiglath-pileser of Assyria.
  • List what King Ahaz of Judah did to the Temple and the reason why he did it.


2 Kings 17:
  • List whether King Hoshea of Israel followed the Lord and what happened during his reign.
  • List the reasons why the people of Israel were exiled to Assyria.
  • From verses 14-17, list a description of the Israelites,
  • From verses 35-39, list the Lord's commands.


John 6:1-21:
  • From verse 11, list the order of events that Jesus did with the bread and fish.
  • List the words of Jesus in verse 20.
