Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

The readings for today are 2 Kings 12, 13, and 14 and John 5:25-47. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.


2 Kings 12:
  • List how the priests of Joash collected money to repair the Temple.
  • List how the money was used.


2 Kings 13:
  • List the things Jehoahaz of Israel did that were evil in the Lord's sight.
  • List the kings that ruled after Jehoahaz.
  • Elisha asked King Jehoash of Israel to do two things with a bow and several arrows. List what he asked the king to do and what each thing signified.


2 Kings 14:
  • List what Amaziah did or didn't do that was or was not pleasing in the Lord's sight.
  • List the people that Amaziah did or didn't kill and why.
  • List what King Jehoash of Israel did when he defeated King Amaziah.

John 5:25-47
  • Write out verse 36.
  • Write out verse 38.
