Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.
The readings for today are 1 Kings 14 and 15 and John 1:1--28. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.
1 Kings 14:
- List what the prophet Ahijah said were the sins of Jeroboam, the ruler of Israel.
- List the sins committed by the people of Judah.
1 Kings 15:
- List the sins committed by the ruler of Judah, Abijam (Abijah).
- List the things Asa did when he became ruler of Judah.
- List the rulers of Israel during Asa's reign in Judah. List their sins.
John 1:1-28:
- From verses 1-5, list everything we learn about God and the Word.
- Write out verses 12 and 13.
- Write out verses 17 and 18.
