Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

February 9, 2011: The readings for today are: Leviticus 7, 8, and 9 and Matthew 25:31-46. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.




Leviticus 7:

  • List who can eat the sin and guilt offering meat and where.
  • List the different kinds of peace offerings.
  • List what should not be eaten.
  • List the priests' portions.


Leviticus 8:


  • List the animals that Moses used in the ordination of Aaron and his sons and their purposes.


Leviticus 9:


  • List what the Israelites were told to bring as offerings to the Lord on the 8th day of the ordination ceremony.
  • List what happened when the Lord's presence appeared.


Matthew 25:31-46:


  • Draw a vertical line down the center of the page to form two columns. Label the left column "Goats" and the right column "Sheep."
  • Fill in the information from the reading in the appropriate columns.
  • Write out verse 40.
  • Write out verse 45.
