February 19, 2011

Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

February 19, 2011: The readings for today are Numbers 1 and 2 and Mark 3:1-19. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.

Numbers 1:
  • List the 12 tribes, each tribe's leader, and how many men in each tribe were 20 years old or older.
  • List which tribe was not counted and why.

Numbers 2:

  • Draw a large box on the page and label the four sides of the box according to the four compass points.
  • Draw a box in the center of the box.
  • List each tribe grouping under the appropriate compass points.
  • Number the order that each grouping was to set out.

Mark 3:1-19:

  • List what Jesus did that day as described in verses 1-12.
  • List the 12 who were chosen to be Jesus's disciples.
