February 24, 2011: The readings for today are Numbers 11, 12, and 13 and Mark 5:21-43. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.



Numbers 11:

• List all the complaints found in this chapter.

• List all the Lord's responses to the complaints.

Numbers 12:

• List Miriam and Aaron did and what happened to them.

Numbers 13:

• Moses sent 12 tribal leaders to spy out the land. List them.

• List the negative report (I like to call it "grasshopper thinking") given by the spies concerning the Promised Land.

• Circle the name of the man who disagreed with the discouraging advice.

Mark 5:21-43:

• Draw two vertical lines down the center of the page to form three columns Label the left column "Person," the middle column "Request," and the right column "Result."

• With the information from today's reading, list the information in the appropriate column.
