February 27, 2011: The readings for today are Numbers 18, 19, and 20 and Mark 7:1-13. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.

Numbers 18:

• From verses 1-7, list the basic responsibilities of the Levites and the priests, and the Lord's promise if they follow His instructions:

• Priests
• Lord's promise

• Write out verse 29.

Numbers 19:

• List the reason for the purification ceremony.

• List the kinds of sins that would require water of purification.

Numbers 20:

• List those who died in this chapter.

• The Israelites complain again, and Moses sinned when following the Lord's instructions. List the complaint, Moses's sin, and Moses's punishment.

Mark 7:1-13:

• From the reading, list descriptions of the Pharisees and religious teachers.
