Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

February 8, 2011: The readings for today are: Leviticus 4, 5, and 6 and Matthew 25:1-30. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.


Leviticus 4:

  • Draw two vertical lines down your paper to form 3 columns. Label the left column "Sinners," the center column "Guilty," and the right column "Sacrifice Needed."
  • List the information from this chapter in the appropriate column.


Leviticus 5:


  • List the sins that require a sin offering.
  • List the acceptable ways to atone for the above sins.
  • List the acceptable offerings for a guilt offering if defiling the Lord's sacred property.


Leviticus 6:


  • List the sins that require a guilt offering and what penalty is required.
  • List what instruction the Lord repeated three times in verses 8-13. 
  • What ingredient should never be included in a grain offering?
  • List the ingredients of the ordination offering.


Matthew 25:1-30:


  • Draw a vertical line down the center of the page to form two columns. Label the left column "Foolish Bridesmaids" and the right column "Wise Bridesmaids."
  • List the information from the story of the bridesmaids in the appropriate column.
  • Write out verse 13.
  • Draw two vertical lines down the page to form three columns. Label the left column "Servants' Portion," the center column, "Investment Return," and the right column "Master's Reward."
  • List in the appropriate column the portion that each servant received, how much each servant got for their investment, and what the Master rewarded to each of them.
  • Write out verse 29.
