February 17, 2011: The readings for today are Leviticus 24 and 25 and Mark 1:23-45. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.



Leviticus 24:
  • List the special responsibilities in this chapter that Aaron had.
  • List the offenses and punishments contained in this chapter.


Leviticus 25:

  • List a brief summary description of the Sabbath Year.
  • List a brief summary description of the Year of Jubilee.
  • List a brief summary description of how property was to be redeemed.
  • List a brief summary description of how the poor and enslaved could be redeemed.


Mark 1:23-45:
  • List the first disciples that Jesus called, where they were at the time, and what they were doing when Jesus called them.
  • List the various people that Jesus healed in this chapter.
