Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

February 3, 2011: The readings for today are: Exodus 31, 32, and 33 and Matthew 22:23-46. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.


Exodus 31:

• List the people chosen by the Lord to receive special skill and what gifts the Lord gave them.

• List what the Lord instructed concerning the Sabbath.

Exodus 32:

• List the things that the Israelites did to defile themselves.

• List the main things that Moses pleaded to the Lord not to destroy the Israelites.

• Write out what the Lord told Moses in verse 33.

• Write out the last part of verse 34.

Exodus 33:

• List the things that we learn in this chapter about the Lord.

Matthew 22:23-46:

• List what Jesus taught in answer to the Sadducees' question about marriage, death, and resurrecton (which the Sadducees did not believe in).

• List what Jesus taught about the greatest commandment.
