Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

February 13, 2011: The readings for today are Leviticus 15, 16, and 17 and Matthew 27:1-31. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.



Leviticus 15:

  • List the various bodily discharges discussed in the reading.


Leviticus 16:


  • List the various offerings or animal sacrifices and atonements that Aaron was to make for the Day of Atonement and for whom the atonements were made.


Leviticus 17:


  • List the prohibitions discussed in this chapter.


Matthew 27:1-31:


  • List the reactions of the leading priests and leaders when Judas tried to return the money.
  • Draw two vertical lines down the page to form three columns. Label the left column "Accusers," the middle column "Accusations," and the right column "Jesus's Answer."
  • From the reading, list the information in the appropriate columns.
  • List what Pilate said when he washed his hand before the crowd.
  • List the people's response in verse 25.
  • List the things that the governor's soldiers did to Jesus.
