Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

The readings for today are Daniel 3 and 4 and 1 John 3. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.

Daniel 3:
  • List what the king built and required his subject to do.
  • List who refused to obey the king's decree and the reason they gave.
  • List what happened to the three Hebrew men.
  • List how the king responded to the events after the men were rescued.

Daniel 4:
  • List what the king dreamed.
  • List what Daniel tells the king that the dream meant.
  • List what the purpose of the king's dream is.
  • List the advice that Daniel gives the king in verse 27.
  • List what the kind did or said once his sanity returned.

1 John 3:
  • Draw a vertical line down the center of the page. Label the left column "Children of the World" and the right column "Children of the Father."
  • From the reading, put the information in the appropriate column.
  • Write out God's commandment in verse 23.
