Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

The readings for today are Daniel 1 and 2 and 1 John 2. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.




Daniel 1:

• List the four men chosen to be trained as future advisers to King Nebuchadnezzar.

• List what qualities the young men possessed that caused them to be chosen for the king's training program.

Daniel 2:

• List the four types of advisers the king first consulted about his dream.

• Write out Daniel's song of praise from verses 20-23a.

• List whom Daniel gave credit for revealing the dream's meaning.

• List the gist of the king's dream and what it means.

1 John 2:

• List how we can be sure we belong to God.

• List the new (and old) commandment we are to follow.

• List what the world offers us.

• List a description of the antichrist.
