Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

The readings for today are Hosea 9, 10, and 11 and Revelation 2. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.


Hosea 9:
  • List how Israel will pay for its sins.
  • List a description of the prophet.
  • List the Lord's description of Israel when He first found it.
  • Write out verse 17.


Hosea 10:
  • As Israel prospered, list what it did then.
  • Write out verse 4.
  • List what the Israelites will beg the mountains and plead with the hills.
  • Write out verse 12.


Hosea 11:
  • List the ways the Lord showed Israel love.
  • List the living creatures used to illustrate:
    • the Lord
    • the Lord's people


Revelation 2:
  • Regarding the church of Ephesus:
    • List the good things described.
    • List the complaint against it.
    • List what the church is asked to do.
  • Regarding the church in Smyrna:
    • List the good things described.
    • List the complaint against it.
    • List what the church needs to do.
  • Regarding the church in Pergamum:
    • List the good things described.
    • List the complaints against it.
  • Regarding the church in Thyatira:
    • List the good things described.
    • List the complaints against it.
  • Look back at verses 7, 11, 17, and 26-28. List what those with ears to hear and are victorious will receive.
  • Look back at verses 1, 8, 12, and 18, and list the names and description of the one who is giving the message to the churches.
