Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.
The readings for today are Hosea 5, 6, 7, and 8 and Revelation 1. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.
Hosea 5:
- List the complaints the Lord has against Israel and Judah.
- List what Israel's and Judah's punishment and judgment will be.
- List what needs to happen before the Lord returns.
Hosea 6:
- List the positive things that Israel and Judah expect the Lord to do for them.
- List the two things the Lord wants of Israel and Judah.
Hosea 7:
- List Israel's sins.
- Draw a vertical line down the center of the page. Label the left column "What Israelites Do" and the right column "What God Wants to Do."
- From the reading, list the information in the appropriate column.
Hosea 8:
- Write out verse 7a.
- Write out verses 11 and 12.
Revelation 1:
- Write out verse 8.
- List the seven churches that John is to send his message to.
- What is the meaning of the following?
- 7 stars in the Son of Man's right hand
- 7 gold lamp stands
