Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.
The readings for today are Joel 1, 2, and 3 and Revelation 4. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.
Joel 1:
- List the different locusts Joel tells about.
- List what destruction will lie in the locusts' wake.
- Write out verse 15.
Joel 2:
- List a description of the day of the Lord.
- Write out verses 11 and 12.
- Write out verse 21.
- List what the rains are an expression of.
- List what will happen after the rains.
- List the wonders that the Lord will cause in the heavens and on earth.
- Write out verse 32a.
Joel 3:
- List the name of the place where the Lord will pronounce judgment (verse 14).
- List what will happen there.
Revelation 4:
- List the jewels associated with the throne.
- List what else is with the throne.
- List a description of the four living beings.
- Write out what the living beings kept saying from verse 8.
- Write out what the 24 elders kept saying from verse 11.
