Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

The readings for today are Hosea 1, 2, 3, and 4 and Jude. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.


Hosea 1:
  • List the names of Hosea's children and the reasons behind the names.
  • List what the Day of Jezreel is.


Hosea 2:
  • List the accounting against Israel.
  • List what the Lord will take back from Israel and why.
  • List what the Lord will do in the coming day (verses 16-21).
  • List the new names of God and his children (verses 22 and 23).


Hosea 3:
  • List the meaning behind the Lord's instruction that the wife not have sexual intercourse.


Hosea 4:
  • List the Lord's complaints against Israel.
  • List the results of Israel's sins.
  • Write out verse 11.
  • Write out verse 18b.


Jude:
  • List the examples Jude gave that show that God's forgiveness does not allow us to lead immoral lives.
  • List what false teachers do.
  • List the three names from history an why Jude uses them as an example.
  • Write out verse 16.
  • List the way believers are to live their lives.
