Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.
The readings for today are Jonah and Revelation 9. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.
Jonah 1:
- List what the Lord told Jonah to do.
- List what Jonah did instead.
- List what happened to Jonah and the sailors.
- Although Jonah disobeyed the Lord, list what happened as a result (verse 10).
- List what happened when Jonah was thrown into the sea and for how long.
Jonah 2:
- Write out verse 8.
Jonah 3:
- List what the people and king of Ninevah did when Jonah gave the Lord's message.
- List what God then did.
Jonah 4:
- List the reasons why Jonah was angry.
- List what God did to teach a lesson to Jonah.
Revelation 9:
- List what happened when the fifth angel blew his trumpet.
- List what happened when the sixth angel blew his trumpet.
- List the three plagues.
- List how the people continued to sin.
