Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

The readings for today are Jeremiah 40, 41, and 42 and Hebrews 2. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.

Jeremiah 40:
  • List the choices the captain of the guard gave to Jeremiah. Put an asterisk before the choice that Jeremiah made.
  • List what the remnant of people were told they could do.

Jeremiah 41:
  • List the evil things that Ishmael did.
  • List what Johanan did.

Jeremiah 42:
  • Write out what was said to Jeremiah in verses 5 and 6.
  • Draw a vertical line down the center of the page. Label the left column "Go to Egypt" and the right column "Stay in Judah."
  • From the reading, list in the appropriate column what will happen.

Hebrews 2:
  • List a description of Jesus from verses 5-10.
  • Write out verse 11a.
  • From verses 14 and 15, list what Jesus did and why.
  • Write out verse 18.
