Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

The readings for today are Ezekiel 22 and 23 and James 2. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.

Ezekiel 22:
  • List the sins for which Jerusalem is being judged.
  • List the judgments that Jerusalem will receive.
  • List the ironmongery terms used to describe Jerusalem and they mean.
  • Write out verse 30.
Ezekiel 23:
  • List the two sisters, who they represented, and what their sins were.
  • List the judgments that will fall upon the two sisters.
James 2:
  • Draw a vertical line down the center of the page. Label the left column "Rich" and the right column "Poor."
  • From the reading, list a description of the rich and the poor in the appropriate column.
  • Write out verses 9 and 10.
  • Write out verse 13a.
  • Write out verse 17.
  • List the examples James gives of faith in action.
  • Write out the last sentence of verse 26.
