Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

The readings for today are Ezekiel 24, 25, and 26 and James 3. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.

Ezekiel 24:

  • List the story the Lord tells Ezekiel to illustrate and what it represents.
  • List what happened to Ezekiel’s wife and what Ezekiel was to do about it.

Ezekiel 25:

  • List what the Ammonites did that causes the Lord to punish them. (Hint: list the verbs).
  • List what will happen to Ammon, Moab, Edom, and Philistia.

Ezekiel 26:

  • List what will happen to Tyre.

James 3:

  • List what we learn about:
    • people who teach
    • people who control their tongues
    • the tongue
  • Draw a vertical line down the center of the page. Label the left column "Evil" and the right column "Wisdom."
  • From the reading, list the contrasts we learn in the appropriate column.
  • List a description of the wisdom that comes from heaven.
