Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.
The readings for today are Ezekiel 20 and 21 and James 1. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.
Ezekiel 20:
- List what the Lord did for the Israelites (verses 10-12).
- List what the Israelites did against the Lord.
- List how the Lord will rule the Israelites (verses 33-38).
- List the Lord's judgment against the Negev.
Ezekiel 21:
- List the instrument the Lord will use for his judgment.
- Write out what the Lord says in verses 24a, b, and c.
- List the Lord's judgment against the Ammonites.
James 1:
- List what can come from trouble if we change our perspective.
- List how we should seek wisdom.
- List how the poor and the rich should be and why.
- List what happens to people who patiently endure testing.
- List what we learn about temptation.
- List James's instructions in verses 19-27.
