Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

The readings for today are Lamentations 1 and 2 and Hebrews 7. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.


Lamentations 1:
  • Draw a vertical line down the center of the paper. Label the left column "Jerusalem Now" and the right column "Jerusalem Before."
  • From the reading, list what we learn about Jerusalem now and before.
  • Write out verse 9a.
  • Write out verse 20a and b.



Lamentations 2:
  • List emotions of the Lord that are written about in this chapter.
  • Draw a vertical line down the center of the page. Label the left column "False Prophets" and the right column "True Prophets."
  • From the reading list a description of what false and true prophets do.
  • Write out verses 19a and b.



Hebrews 7:
  • List what we learn about Melchizedek.
  • List what Abraham gave to Melchizedek.
  • Write out verse 7.
  • List how Jesus became a priest.
  • Draw a vertical line down the center of the page. Label the left column "Old Priesthood" and the right column "Jesus."
  • From the reading, list what we learn about the old priesthood and Jesus.
