Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

The readings for today are Ezekiel 16 and Hebrews 12. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.


Ezekiel 16:

  • Write out the last sentence of verse 8.
  • List what Jerusalem trusted in rather than the Lord (verse 15).
  • List Jerusalem's sins against the Lord.
  • List the reason why Jerusalem would do these sins (verse 30).
  • List who Jerusalem's relatives are (verses 45 and 46).
  • List the sins of Sodom.
  • Write out verses 62 and 63.


Hebrews 12:

  • List what we should do from verses 1 and 2.
  • List a description of God's discipline.
  • Write out verse 11.
  • List how we should live.
  • List a description of (verse 24):
    • Jesus
    • sprinkled blood
  • Write out verses 28 and 29.
