The readings for today are Jeremiah 7 and 8 and 1 Timothy 2. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.
Jeremiah 7:
- List reasons for the Lord to be merciful.
- List what the Lord refers to the Temple as in verse 11.
- Write out verse 19.
- Write out what the Lord told Israel's ancestors in verse 23.
- List the Lord's complaints about the people's sins in verses 27-34.
Jeremiah 8:
- List what will happen to the people who sinned.
- List all the emotions that Jeremiah expresses in verses 18-22.
1 Timothy 2:
- List how Paul tells Timothy to pray.
- Write out verses 4 and 5.
- List Paul's instructions concerning women.
