Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

The readings for today are Isaiah 56, 57, and 58, and 1 Thessalonians 3. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.

Isaiah 56:
  • List what the Lord commands us to do.
  • List all those who will be blessed by the Lord.
  • List the attributes of the former sinful leaders of the people.

Isaiah 57:
  • Write out verse 2.
  • List a description of condemned children.
  • List the attributes of those who will live with the Lord.
  • Write out verses 20 and 21.

Isaiah 58:
  • Draw a vertical line down the center of the page. Label the left column "False Worship" and the right column "True Worship."
  • From the reading, list a description of each in the appropriate column.
  • List the blessings a true worshiper will receive from the Lord.
  • From verse 13, list what the Lord asks us to do.
  • From verse 14, list what blessings we will receive from following the Lord's requests in verse 13.

1 Thessalonians 3:
  • List the reasons Paul sent Timothy to visit the Thessalonian church.
  • Write out Paul's prayer in verses 12 and 13.
