Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

The readings for today are Isaiah 62, 63, and 64 and 1 Thessalonians 5. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.

Isaiah 62:
  • Draw a vertical line down the center of the page. Label the left column "Old Jerusalem" and the right column "New Jerusalem."
  • List a description and the names we find in today's reading in the appropriate column.

Isaiah 63:
  • Briefly summarize the topics in this chapter. How is the chapter divided by section?

Isaiah 64:
  • Write out verse 5.
  • Write out verse 8.

Isaiah 65:
  • The day of the Lord will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night. List the reasons why the Thessalonian church will not be surprised.
  • Write out verse 8.
  • Write out Paul's commands and instructions in this chapter.
