Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.
The readings for today are Isaiah 7, 8, and 9, and Galatians 4. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.
Isaiah 7:
- List the three kinds in this chapter and describe what the Lord says about them.
- List the Lord's sign (verse 14).
- List the Lord's curse on Ahaz.
Isaiah 8:
- List what the Lord told Isaiah in verses 11-15.
Isaiah 9:
- Write out verse 2a.
- Write out verse 6.
- List the reasons the Lord will destroy Israel.
Galatians 4:
- List what the Galatians are trying to do to find favor with God.
- Draw a vertical line down the center of the page. Label the left column "Hagar" and the right column "Sarah."
- List the two sons of Abraham and write a description of each in the appropriate column.
- Continue listing information about the covenants represented by both women in the appropriate column.
