Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

The readings for today are Proverbs 25, 26, and 27, and 2 Corinthians 6. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.


Proverbs 25:
  • Summarize verses 6 and 7.
  • Write out verse 15.
  • Summarize the message of verse 20.
  • Write out verse 27b.


Proverbs 26:
  • Write out verses 4 and 5. Any thoughts about how to reconcile this dilemma?
  • This is my favorite verse! Write out verse 11.
  • Write a description of lazy people.
  • write out verses 24-26.


Proverbs 27:
  • Write out verse 2.
  • Write out verse 17.
  • Write out verse 19.
  • Write out verse 21b.


2 Corinthians 6:
  • Paul states that he and his fellow preachers patiently endured troubles and hardship. List what these troubles and hardships were.
  • List how Paul proved himself and what he did.
  • Draw a vertical line down the center of the page. Label the left column "Others Say" and the right column "Paul Does."
  • From verses 8-10, Paul contrasts what others say with what Paul does. List these contrasts in the appropriate column.
  • Write out verse 14a.
