Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.
The readings for today are Proverbs 1 and 2, and 1 Corinthians 12. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.
Proverbs 1:
- List the purpose of Solomon's writing these proverbs.
- Write out verse 7.
- List what we will gain from listening to what our parents teach us.
- List what we should do when enticed by sinners.
- List what those who reject wisdom will have happen to them (verses 30-32)
- Write out verse 33.
Proverbs 2:
- List the benefits of acquiring wisdom.
- List what we should follow and why (verses 20-22)
1 Corinthians 12:
- List how we discern what is truly from God.
- Write out verse 7.
- List the spiritual gifts.
- Write out verse 20.
- List some of the members of the body of Christ.
- Write out verse 31.
