Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

March 9, 2011: The readings for today are Deuteronomy 8, 9, and 10 and Mark 12:28-44. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.


Deuteronomy 8:
  • List how the Lord taught the Israelites through their desert wanderings.
  • Write out verse 3b.
  • Write out verse 5b.
  • List the reasons to be careful in times of plenty.

Deuteronomy 9:

  • List the negative traits that the Israelites showed the Lord.

Deuteronomy 10:

  • List what the Lord requires of the Israelites.
  • List the Lord's attributes as set out in this chapter.

Mark 12:28-44:

  • List the most important commandments.
  • List a description of the religious teachers and leaders.
  • Draw a vertical line down the center of the page. Label the left column "Person" and the right column "Tithe."
  • From the reading, list the two different people and how much money they put in.
