Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.
March 1, 2011: The readings for today are Numbers 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27 and Mark 8. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.
Numbers 23:
- Write out verse 8.
- Verse 19 describes some negative traits of man. List them.
- In Balaam's final prophecy, he lists the destruction of many nations. List them.
- Some Israelites sinned by sleeping with Moabite women and worshiping Baal of Peor, a Moabite god. List all of the Lord's punishments, including those executed by men.
- List each clan and the number of men in each clan of military age.
- List the two men who were part of the original Israelite exodus from Egypt.
- List the Lord's suggested inheritance order from verses 7-11.
- List the steps the Lord instructed Moses to take to transfer leadership to Joshua.
- List how many people were fed, how much food the disciples started with, and how much food was left over.
- List everyone that the people thought Jesus was.
- List the requirements to be a follower of Christ.
