March 28, 2011

Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

March 28, 2011: The readings for today are Joshua 21 and 22 and Luke 6:1-26. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.

Joshua 21:
  • List the number of towns given to each Levite clan.

Joshua 22:
  • List the name and the reason the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and half of Manasseh built an altar before crossing the Jordan.

Luke 6:1-26:
  • Write what Jesus said in verse 5.
  • List the questions that Jesus asked of his critics.
  • List which answer that Jesus chose.
  • List the 12 apostles.
  • Draw a vertical line down the center of the page. Label the left column "What you are" and the right column "God's blessings."
  • From the remaining verses of today's readings, list the information in the appropriate columns.
