Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

March 20, 2011: The readings for today are Joshua 1, 2, and 3 and Luke 1:57-80. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.


Joshua 1:
  • List how many times the Lord told Joshua to be strong and courageous and in which verses.
  • Write out verse 9.


Joshua 2:
  • List the reasons Rahab told the spies that the people were afraid of the Israelites.
  • List what the spies told Rahab to do to guarantee her safety.


Joshua 3:
  • List what happened to the Jordan River when the Israelites came to it.


Luke 1:57-80:
  • Write what the people wondered about John from verse 66.
  • Summarize a list of Zechariah's prophecy.
  • Write out verse 74.
  • List what John would be called and why (verses 76-77).
  • Write out verses 78-79.
