Welcome to Listing Your Way Through the Bible, our unique bible study based on making lists as we work through daily readings.

March 3, 2011: The readings for today are Numbers 30 and 31 and Mark 9:30-50. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.


Numbers 30:
  • Draw two vertical lines down the page to form three columns. Label the left column "Person," the middle column "Vow Must be Kept," and the right column "Vow Can be Nullified."
  • From the information in this chapter, list the various people discussed in the left column, and fill in the information concerning vows in the appropriate columns.

Numbers 31:

  • List all the five Midianite kings who were killed in the battle with the Israelites.
  • List how the plunder was to be divided.

Mark 9:30-50:

  • Write out the words of Jesus in verse 35.
  • Write out the words of Jesus in verse 37.
  • write out verses 40 and 41.
  • write out verse 50b.
