January 27, 2011: The readings for today are: Exodus 13, 14, and 15 and Matthew 19:1-15. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.


Exodus 13:

• List the Lord's instructions concerning the Israelites and Passover.

• List how the Lord guided the Israelites through the wilderness.

Exodus 14:

• List the Lord's instructions to Moses.

• List what Pharaoh brought with him while chasing after the Israelites.

• Write out the first part of what Moses said in verse 13.

• Write out verse 14.

• List what the pillars of cloud and fire did.

• list the events from verses 21-31.

Exodus 15:

• List all the things that the people sang about the Lord and what he is.

• List the conditions that the Lord laid before Israelites to test their faithfulness.

Matthew 19:1-15:

• List what Jesus taught about divorce, what God intended, and what man determined to do.
