January 23, 2011: The readings for today are: Exodus 4, 5, and 6 and Matthew 16. Here are some lists for the reader to contemplate while reading.

Exodus 4:

• List the signs that Moses was to give to the Israelites.

• List the Lord's instructions to Moses about what he was to do when he was back in Egypt.

• List the events that occurred once Aaron and Moses arrived in Egypt.

Exodus 5:

• List what happened when Moses spoke with Pharaoh the first time.

Exodus 6:

• Write out the first part of verse 7.

• List the Israelite's response to the Lord's words.

• Trace the lineage of Moses (verses 16, 18, and 20).

Matthew 16:

• Write out verse 4.

• List what Jesus told Peter.

• List what the disciples needed to do to be a follower of Jesus.

• Write out verse 27.
